Wings Over Illawarra 2022

Once again Grant was on the commentary team for the Wings Over Illawarra airshow, working with Mark Bright and the Bright Events team to present Australia’s biggest annual air show. Grant was also assisting the show’s Air Boss with additional weather information, using access to weather models and contacts at the Bureau of Meteorology to help him restructure the Sunday flying display due to potentially bad weather. Fortunately the show was able to continue, albeit with the F-35 & wall of fire around the middle of the day, not at the end.

Hunter Valley Air Show 2021

After missing a year of air shows due to COVID-19 restrictions, Grant was able to travel to Cessnock in the Hunter Valley and join Ando once again on the commentary stand. This two day event saw heat and humidity on the Saturday and cold rain on the Sunday but the show managed to occur on both days.
